Pohjala – Orange Gose

Only the second Gose I have tried. Its bitter, but not as bad as these super sour beers that are popular at the moment, it definately has an orangy taste to it, and its just generally not all that bad.

8 Wired Brewing Co. – iStout Affogato

Wow, its an imperial stout weighing in at 10% all the way from New Zealand.

Its super strong, but lactose infused, so its smooth in equal measure. . . It tastes of smooth coffee, like a latte type. And has a sweetness to it. Very nice beer.

Brewdog – Jet Black Heart (Nitro)

Wow, this is absolutely the smoothest beer I have ever tried at home, it is like pure silk in a glass. I know this is predominantly down to the nitrogen, but honestly its mind blowing.

The beer itself, I have tried once before from a bottle and it was relatively unremarkable. Somehow it just tastes incredible. Honestly, its one of the best I have had. Ridiculously smooth, sweet, chocolatey, vanilla comes through, just a perfect pint!

Would I buy again? Without a shadow of a doubt

Lervig – Perler for Svin

Its a bit hazy, but I was expecting a pretty standard hoppy affair. I was wrong. . . it was pretty smooth, fruity, a touch herby and a generally nice refreshing beer.

ABV – 6.3%
