Rodenbach – Classic

This is an odd one. Its quite bitter in flavour, red in colour, tastes really complex, but I couldn’t quite tell if there was a slight vinegariness to it, which could be related to the fact its 3 months past its best by date. Would like to try again but fresher.

La Goudale

A nice, pretty run of the mill Belgian beer with the usual Belgian yeast sweetness, and relatively high carbonation. Nice and refreshing and deceptively strong.

Avaans – Kveik IPA

A nice hazy little number, citrussy from the hop profile and not mega OTT on the hop front. Not bad at all.

Brouwerij Lekker – Witbier

A pretty standard tasting wheatbeer, not bad, not great. Claims to have coriander and orange peel in it, but I couldn’t detect the faintest hint of either.

Sampled from: Can

Country of Origin: Belgium

ABV – 4.6%

Would I recommend? Its OK

Would I buy again? Probably not

Rating: 3/5
