Saltaire – Breadwinner

A golden ale, brewed exclusively for Morrisons. A bitter initial taste makes way for a citrussy finish, undertones of maltiness, all in all a decent light ale.

Wainright – Altitude

A pale and rather bland beer, its refreshing, but tastes almost watered down to me. A real shame as I love the standard Wainright Golden Ale, and hoped for similar, but nevermind, you win some and lose some. . .

Sampled from: Bottle

ABV – 4%

Kona Brewing Co. – Big Wave

A golden ale, all the way from Hawaii. Its light, refreshing, mildly fruity and more like an English golden ale than an IPA, not as hoppy. A nice little number.

Sampled from: Can

Country of Origin: Hawaii

ABV – 4.4%

Would I recommend? Yes

Would I buy again? Yes

Rating: 3/5
