Cairngorm Brewery – Trade Winds

A light and refreshing pale golden ale. The first thing you get is the mild elderflower taste which is nice, then a super hit of malty wheatiness.

Its quite bitter overall, but super refreshing, needs to be drank ice cold for me.

Banks’s – Golden Beer

I really wasnt expecting much from this as it was only £1 a bottle.

It tastes stronger than it is, its light both in colour and consistency. Has a bitter taste to begin with but quickly turns to really malty.

Very drinkable and cheap, what more do you want?

Wychwood – Hobgoblin Gold

This is a really nice, smooth, crisp and refreshing golden beer.

Mainly tastes malty, but with a slight hoppiness. . . Not too overpowering on the Hops front. Which I like.

Perfect after a hard day in the hot sun, much more refreshing than a dark beer, and ideal if your only having one.

Sampled from: Can / Tap / Mini-Keg / Bottle

ABV – 4.2%

Would I recommend? Definately

Would I buy again? Indeed

Rating: 4/5
