Erdinger – Dunkel

A dark brown version of the classic, readily available German wheat beer. Its got the usual flavours associated with a wheat beer, but with a richness and deeper malty flavours overlaid. I really enjoyed it, and I prefer it to the original actually.

Brew York Vs. Amundsen – A New Beginning

The first in the Freaky Franchise series, released to celebrate Brew Yorks 5th birthday. Its a Coffee, Blueberry, Cacao, Walnut and Vanilla imperial breakfast stout. Brewed in collab with Amundsen. It is absolutely cracking. You can taste all of the individual elements of it, so tasty and complex. A real treat. Cant wait to try the rest.

To Øl – Gose to Hollywood

A nice and refreshing zesty orange Gose, which is quite sour, but nice. A lot of sediment, but ultimately I think this is the best Gose I have tried.

Albrecht – Czech Pale Ale

A nice, fruity pale ale, not too dissimilar to an English pale / golden ale. Nice and refreshing, fruity and sweet.

Kona Brewing Co. – Big Wave

A golden ale, all the way from Hawaii. Its light, refreshing, mildly fruity and more like an English golden ale than an IPA, not as hoppy. A nice little number.

Amundsen – Lorita

A Passionfruit pale ale. Which didnt massively taste of passionfruit if I am honest. . . It was nice, refreshing and definitely had a fruitiness to it, but it wasnt the best Amundsen beer Ive tried.

Roomies – Munich Kellerbier

This is a nice amber coloured kind of spiced lager type affair. Its got a very distinctive flavour and is supposedly a traditional style from the region. It was a surprise as I was expecting a standard lager. Very interesting and good.
