Morland – Old Crafty Hen

Beautiful beer. Strong, and very tasty. Its quite malty and has a distinctive taste, not unlike its younger, more immature sibling Old Speckled Hen, its a matured, more established flavoured beer.

Banks’s – Golden Beer

I really wasnt expecting much from this as it was only £1 a bottle.

It tastes stronger than it is, its light both in colour and consistency. Has a bitter taste to begin with but quickly turns to really malty.

Very drinkable and cheap, what more do you want?

Manns – Brown Ale

This is a surprising beer. I’ve seen it in the shops plenty, and its always dirt cheap for bottled beer. I figured it would be rubbish. Eventually thought I would give it a try.

Its genuinely really nice tasting, quite sweet and not too harsh, but its not very strong which will be why its cheap. I would deffo drink it again, ideal if you are going to have a few but dont want to get too smashed.

Wild Card Brewery – Waimea IPA

Its an IPA, its brewed with Waimea and Nelson Sauvin hops, all the way from New Zealand. . . And it tastes extraordinarily similar to any other standard IPA. . . Brilliant! I just cant get excited about IPA’s. . .

Black Sheep – Milk Stout

Its an interesting one this.

Its sweet, but not sickly, its got a hoppiness to it, but under all that its a solid stout. Not my favourite by a long shot, but a nice pint all the same.

Sampled from: Bottle

ABV – 4.4%

Would I recommend? Yes

Would I buy again? Most likely

Rating: 3/5
