Tasty and hoppy but amber, not pale.
Not a bad beer, but also nothing flash.

Classic American lager beer.
Few lagers come as smooth and distinctly flavoured as a good Bud.
Theres nothing quite as refreshing on a hot summers day, when you’ve been breaking your back working outside, than an ice cold Bud.

An amber coloured, relatively weak tasting, smooth beer. Theres not much to it, but its stronger than it tastes. Claims to be Londons beer. . . says a lot. Its perfect for a Southern softy.
Dont get me wrong, it has its place, and its certainly not a bad pint, but its just lacking in most things, strength, flavour etc.

Malty, with a distinctive taste, a staple in Wetherspoons pubs as they usually have this on regardless of any other dross that may be available.
A nice supping beer.

This was the first ever IPA I tried, back in a day when IPA’s were definately not fashionable. Back then I thought it was revolting, and never gave it a second thought. . . I spotted it the other day and thought lets give it a try.
Actually, compared to a lot of these modern day “craft” beers, which seem to try and cram the most ridiculous amount of hops into their beers, to the point that not only do they all taste very much alike, they actually dont taste very nice at all. . . This is quite refreshing. You can actually still taste a maltiness and it reminds you its actually a beer, not a fringe / hybrid beer / lager designed in a “craft” brewery to try and appeal to lager drinkers. I dont mind it.

Session IPA? Its nice. Bit gassy, tastier than a lager, and very refreshing.
Not overly strong, or very hoppy, and ideal for satisfying a thirst 🙂

Super fruity, not overly sweet or sickly, but just a super nice porter.
One of my alltime favourite beers.

This is one of my faves. Its very smokey flavoured, but super nice. Its a bit lively from a bottle as most ales are, but on tap, it is super smooth to boot.

Wow, this has to be my favourite beer to date.
Tried it a couple of years ago as a guest ale and never seen it since.
It tastes incredible, a bit chocolately, very smooth and drinkable, but word of caution, its strong! but doesn’t taste it!
