Black Iris – Rise & Shine

Coffee Milk Stout. OK, so its definately got Coffee, although its a light, sort of Latte type flavour. Its not massively strong, and neither is it sweet. Just a solid slightly coffee flavoured stout.

Sampled from: Can

ABV – 5.2%

Vocation Vs. Crate – Cooler Shaker

Passionfruit Milkshake IPA. OK, so its fruity, and definatley tastes of passionfruit. Its smooth because of the lactose infusion. But. . . Ultimately its not perfect. A bit kind of weak flavoured, like overly diluted squash.

Sampled from: Can

ABV – 6.6%

Would I recommend? Possibly

Would I buy again? Probably

Rating: 3/5

Magic Rock – Dark Arts

Aupposedly a Surrel Stout. . . However, with all the mischief and mystery this conjours up. . . its actually a very bang average, nothing special kind of a stout.

Sampled from: Can

ABV – 6%

Would I buy again? Yes

Rating: 4/5

SALT – IKAT

DDH IPA. Super smooth, super tropical fruity. No harshness at all, its like drinking fruit juice. Really nice.

Sampled from: Can

ABV – 8%

Play Brew – Marshmallow & Peanut Cookie Dough Ice Cream Stout

OK, so this sounds like its going to be disgustingly sweet! and when you first pop it open, the smell reinforces this, it smells awesome, but. . . it is very surprising.

It tastes incredible, but nowhere near as sweet as you would expect. You can just to say taste the peanut, and the marshmallow accounts for the sweetness, but its really just a delicious beer, and brewed right on my doorstep in Middlesbrough, great work lads!

Sampled from: Can

ABV – 6%

Would I buy again? Yes
