Newcastle Brown Ale

No idea why its taken me this long to write this one up. . . An absolute classic. Very malty and gassy, but refreshing and tasty.

Sampled from: Bottle / Can / Tap

ABV – 4.7%

Would I buy again? Yes

Rating: 4/5

Magic Rock – Clairvoyance

A DDH IPA? I think this means Double Dry Hopped? Not really sure, but what I do know is. . . its hazy, mellow, smooth, very drinkable, nothing exceptional flavour-wise, but a nice beer all the same.

Sampled from: Can

ABV – 7.2%

Would I recommend? Yes

Would I buy again? Yes

Rating: 3/5

Pohjala – Orange Gose

Only the second Gose I have tried. Its bitter, but not as bad as these super sour beers that are popular at the moment, it definately has an orangy taste to it, and its just generally not all that bad.

Sampled from: Bottle

Country of Origin: Estonia

ABV – 5.5%

Would I recommend? Yeah for something different

Would I buy again? Possibly

Rating: 2/5

Magic Rock – High Wire Grapefruit

Grapefruit Pale Ale.

I dont like to compare, but you cant help it, and when I think grapefruit, I think Elvis Juice. . . This is more mellow, a bit lighter tasting, and a tad sweeter, a very nice refreshing pour.

Sampled from: Can

ABV – 5.5%

Would I recommend? Yes

Would I buy again? Yes

Rating: 4/5
