Top Rope – Imperial Canadian Destroyer

Maple Pecan Imperial Stout. Wow, the smell alone is awesome, it literally does what it says on the tine, well kinda. The Maple shines through, and is quite overpowering, cant say particularly that you can taste the pecan. . . Its a strong, tasty, sweet treat. Lovely beer.

Thornbridge – Jaipur

India Pale Ale. This seems a little more delicate than most, and features a whole host of different hops to create the fresh, but tasty flavour. Its not fantastic from my perspective, and a bit heartburn inducing, but not too bad.

Brew York – HYG

Peanut, Caramel and marshmallow milk stout. Wow, super sweet and a bit sickly, whilst still tasting super strong and gives that reassuring slight burn on the back of the throat on the way down to remind you it is infact beer you are drinking, and not some obscure milkshake! It tastes predominantly of the marshmallow / vanilla type flavour to me more than anything, but generally a nice experience.

Amundsen – Christmas Morning

Breakfast waffle stout. Not really sure what to make of this one. Yeah, its nice, its tasty, sweet, but thats about it. Really pleased to have tried it, but after the Super Santa, its a bit of a let down.
