Brewdog – Fake Empire

A sour, hazy IPA. . . Its fruity, nowhere near as sour as any other I have tried, and generally a nice beer. Nothing spectacular, but not bad at all. . .

Brewdog – Jackhammer

This claims to be a ruthless IPA. I have no idea what ruthless means in this context, but its a bog standard IPA, doesn’t taste of anything other than hops, but isn’t the harshest I have tasted.

Coors – Blue Moon

This has to be the single most overrated and ultimately crap beer I have ever tasted. I know what its supposed to taste like, a belgian wheatbeer, but somehow it just tastes like slightly fizzy over-diluted orange squash. Its gassy, has a mildly cirtussy flavour and is served with a slice of orange in it?! A proper tarts drink. . . I just dont see the point in it, but. . . I have a lot of hipster type mates that love it, so they must be doing something right I suppose, or. . . my mates are just sheep!

Brew York – Mos Eisley Catharina 2020

Guava, Coconut and Lime catharina sour. Wow, this was a pleasant surprise. Finally I have found a palletable sour. Its supwr fruity, and yeah, its bitter, but. . . The coconut makes it that tad sweeter and much more drinkable. A super refreshing beer.

Radeberger – Pilsner

My first German review, which is very surprising. The germans are very passionat about their Bier albeit for the most part it is what we would refer to as lager. . .

This is no different in the respect that it is indeed a lager. a Pilsner to be precise. Its very mellow and smooth. Has a wheatiness to it and isn’t as harsh / constrained as most lagers.

Badger Brewery – Fursty Ferret

I have long been a fan of the Badger Brewery, they make fruity and different ales that I am a huge fan of. Fursty Ferret has always been a bit of a go-to. Its amber in colour, and malty in flavour. Nothing exceptional by any means, but a very drinkable beer all the same.
