The fourth in their state of mind barrel aged series, and another belter. . . the first thing that hits you on opening the can is a zesty orange smell, followed almost instantly by an almond scent. The first thing you taste is the almond, but it is backed up with a nice complexity and cacophony of flavours from the port barrel aging process.
A great beer, and one to savour.

Wow, this was lovely. . . not the hoppy affair you may expect, it was rich, amber coloured and has a soft spicy, malty flavour.

A black IPA. Very bang average, nothing to write home about, the usual sort of sharred flavour with tonnes of hoppiness, not really my bag. . .

A supposed robust coffee porter. . . Not so much, I mean it has a very slight taste of coffee to me, but it does have a solid hoppy, malty porter profile. Enjoyed it, but slightly disappointed at the lack of coffee flavour.

A Chocolate fudgecake stout. Well its sweetish, but not overly-so. . . doesnt particularly taste of fudge cake though. All in all not a bad stout.

A raspberry stout. Its not as bad as it sounds, yeah its sweet and fruity, with a chocolatey backbone, but its quite drinkable, maybe a tad sickly if you have a few?
