I wasn’t expecting much from this given that most beers I have picked up in B&M have been poor. This didn’t change my opinion! The worst beer I have tried by Thornbridge, who are usually really consistently good. Its not very tasty, mildly hoppy, quite carbonated, and generally just not very good.

Wow, I wasnt expecting this little surprise package. . . When I read traditional Czech Beer, I assumed, rather wrongly. . . Continental beer = lager. . . So I opened it to have with a curry. . . What a mistake, it was pitch black, heavily carbonated, but with a lovely malty, deep flavour, a bit of spiciness going on and a rich chocolatey taste, an absolute beautiful beer. Probably a bit overly carbonated for my liking, but all in all superb.

This is a gluten free APA, its pretty standard, not too shabby, but nothing spectacular. relatively hoppy, with some maltiness.

Another from ASDA craft beer range, this is a DIPA. Nice and softy fruity, not really hoppy, and a really nice beer.

A NEIPA from Mikkeller. It was nice, the usual NEIPA type of flavour, straw coloured, and tasty, fruity.
