Westmalle – Tripel

A Belgian Trappist ale. Its nice, golden in colour, strong, as to be expected, with the usual, distinctive malty, and sweet taste associated with a trappist ale. Not bad at all.

ABV –9.5%

Would I buy again? Definately

Williams Bros. Brewing Co. – Caesar Augustus Lager IPA Hybrid

Hmmmm. . . I have long been a believer that the IPA was a hybrid of sorts anyway, concocted to try and drag a cross Lager drinkers to the “beer” side. . . However this is an odd one, its really gassy like a lager, has a distinctively lager feel and taste, but with the added hoppiness and fragrance of an IPA. Its neither one nor the other, definately bang in the middle. Ideal if its your thing. For me. . . I dont particularly like lager, and I am starting to get a taste for some IPA’s, but its not bad. . .

Sampled from: Can

ABV – 4.1%

Would I recommend? Definitely if you are on the fence

Would I buy again? Unlikely

Rating: 2/5

Siren – Hard Pour Broken Dream

A Nitro Breakfast Stout. Like the Cacao and Cherry version, very tasty, rich and generally lovely, not as fruity, but. . . Its a nitro beer, so it is silky smooth, and a better, more well rounded version personally speaking.

Sampled from: Can

ABV – 6.5%

Would I recommend? Yes

Would I buy again? Yes

Rating: 5/5
